Persuasive communication

Later today I will be presenting my session in Derry, on persuasive communication. I am using a four part structure to illustrate my thoughts, based on a variety of communication theories. This includes establishing credibility, seeking common ground and goals, using good evidence, and being passionate. All in 30 minutes. I am using the inevitable PowerPoint slides. Just ten slides or so. All mostly visuals, no boring bullet points! So actually the whole thing is unpredictable as the audience reaction will drive it. Should be great fun and a good challenge.

I’m very sad not to be there with you all. I hope you have a great conference.
Your presentation sounds fascinating and please tell us how it went.
